The
aim of the project Faith Festivities is the edition of a Photograph
Book, by Editora Metalivros, with 144 pages, size 27 X 30cm
and 120 full-color photos.
|
| It
intends to reveal the origin and the social function of the
Brazilian popular festivities, emphasizing the cultural diversity
and the influence of the Iberic, African and Indian traditions
in the Brazilian scenery. |
| The
work is the documentation of 30 Popular Festivities of many
regions of the Country, like Festa do Divino de Pirinópolis
- GO, Missa do Vaqueiro - PE, Bumba meu Boi Parintins - AM,
Procissão do Fogaréu - Goiás Velho, Cordão de Bichos - SC and
others. |
